Good To Know
West Palm Beach, FL
We had never been to SeaWorld Orlando and only had a one day pass. While we like roller-coasters, we decided to prioritize the animals and shows, after 2 days at Universal! Arriving right before park opening, we picked up our quick queue passes and waited to go through Security. We were highly impressed when the National Anthem started to play and all park staff turned to face the prominent flag with hands on their hearts. About half of us in line did the same. Great to see! Our first stop was Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin. The ride itself couldn't been much more hokey, however observing the penguins directly, and speaking with the staff until we could no longer tolerate the cold, was invaluable. The birds looked happy, well-tended and totally in their element. There is room for the 300 bird colony to grow, and it will! Don't pass this up. The shows were worth it - with Pets Ahoy being even better than the Busch Gardens animal show; Blue Horizons and One Ocean both good, and the Sea Lion show a bit silly. Don't miss a lot of the opportunities for wildlife viewing including Walrus, Beluga Whales and Sea Lions in Wild Arctic. Manatees - if you haven't seen them up close before. And if you have kids - have them touch the Sting-Rays! And do the free animal encounters at Sea Garden. The water temperatures and environments are kept at expected/appropriate levels for the animals/fish - one of the details I got answered by speaking with attendants. The saltwater is filtered and ph is tested daily and adjusted as needed. FYI - it poured for about 20 minutes and all rides/shows were stopped - we had to search for a spot to wait it out.

Miles better than Universal or Disney... Rides are great, Shamu show was super, we had a brill day, along with Busch Gardens this was our favourite outing.
Our first day was spent here and the place is simply awesome. 3 amazing roller coasters and excellent shows, My kids preferred this to Universal!
We had our 4 year old grandson with us and we totally loved the park. His favorite experience was Dining with Shamu...definitely worth the extra money! Also we went to the Dolphin Encounter...fantastic pictures. Wonderful experience and as a special treat we attended the weekend that "Jungle" Jack Hanna came with some rare animals including a cheetah!
