Wanted a relaxed day and thought we would squeeze this in...... Family with 3 kids 14,10,5 yrs. Main down side was the travel agent advertising/ selling point... It was sold as an included extra (part of our holiday with travel planners) as an airboat ride to see alligators....... We didn't see any. Luckily I researched before going and knew it was u likely due to seasons and heat etc so we went wanting the experience of the airboat ride and if we saw an alligator it was a bonus. We didn't and that was fine but I do think the tour companies need to stop selling it as alligator viewing!!! Anyhow it is about 30 miles from Disney and took a while out the way. We got there and were given a boat time of 2.15 so had about a 30 min wait..... Not a lot to do but wait (they are refurbishing it by the looks of it) there was a small shop with drinks and snacks at very reasonable prices which was refreshing. We were told at 2.10 there was a lightning storm and we would have to wait (that was the negative really as we were then not told how long, what if, or given any options but to wait in the heat to be told something) eventually at about 4pm we went on the ride, which was great kids and adults all loved it, saw loads of other wildlife and loved the speed. Learnt some stuff and the pilot/ guide knew his stuff. We only had the short ride and I think next time we would pay the extra for a more detailed tour. My sister actually found this her most fav thing of the whole holiday. After we could donate to Gatorland and hold a baby alligator, while my mum and daughter (10) did, got a nice piccy each and learnt more about gators from a trainer there. Only downside was again the weather which cannot be helped I guess.

Booking was quick and simple. Called and gave my cc number and confirmed for a night tour for the same day. Not too bad to find as per zip code and street given on phone when booking. The tour started off great. The guide was nice, funny and informative. About 15-20 minutes into the hour long tour our airboat broke down. The guide was very apologetic and tried to fix it. Another tour boat came to assist but as it was already full of customers it could not take us. A third boat came to rescue us after about 30 minutes or so. The second guide didn't say much. Swung us back real quick to the dock and very quickly showed us 2 small Gators en route. When we docked he just said bye and sent us on our way. No further apology. No mention of a refund or discount. Would have been a great ride if the boat didn't break down. Shame really. Not the guides fault. These things happen. What bothered me was the lack of customer service from the second guide as i assume that he realised there would not be a tip!!!

Fabulous tour, best air boat experience we've done (Compared to 3 others) John our captain, superb fella. Informative, polite, fun & a genuine nice guy :) We actually sore a gator stalking & taking prey, we were lucky Plenty of other wild life I've never seen, even the fish looked prehistoric.... Huge they were. Couldn't be happier with our experience. Thank you

Highly recommend this activity if you're in the Orlando area. Captain Fred was awesome as he educated and entertained us on our 30-minute ride! We saw several gators and lots of waterfowl. Magnificent way to experience the beauty of nature!

"Good guide and boat"

The airboats here hold up to 15 people. Fortunately there were only 10 people in our boat. Our guide was very good. They provided headphones which muffled the engine noise. In the summer you are not going to see any alligators during the day, so do a night trip. It might be better. I did not see any place for alligators to sun themselves, so I don't know if you would see any at other times of the year except for the tops of their heads in the water. Overall it was fun.
