Good To Know
I contacted Boggy Creek on 30th August in a tearful state to see if they could accommodate 13 people for the following day. My plans for the 3yr anniversary of losing my husband fell through. I had my own 3 children and 5 others (8-15yrs) alongside 4 adults who were expecting a special surprise, but a gentle day. Ginny answered my distressed call and was amazing. She quickly made enquiries and arranged an airboat and an hours creek time with Brandon. Brandon was fabulous with the children, he was very informative and funny. We took in every moment of stunning scenery, exciting 360's, alligators and creek life. Ginny was the nicest calming young woman and welcomed us all, she was caring and determined to ensure our trip went smoothly. Afterwards we listened to a talk from a native Indian American and saw their camp. The day was amazing and created new memory moment for my family and friends. I would have no hesitation in recommending it. It can be very hot when the boat stops to take in the views, so take water!!
We arrived at about 9.30 with no booking. Checked in and paid for a half hour tour (about $27 each). As a storm was approaching we had to wait for about an hour before we set off, but the cafe was very cheap for food and drinks. The tour itself took about 30 mins and involved zooming through the reeds in search of wildlife. The tour guide David was informative and made sure we found a croc. At the end of the tour you could pay an extra $5 to hold a baby croc.
Excellent enjoyed our expericnce with our guide fred dissapointed we only seen 1 baby gator but wild animal are wild for a reason well worth it anyway Excellent
We visited this on our Orlando Go cards. David was our guide & he showed us a pair of Bald eagles & alligators plus other wild life. He gave us lots of information & made the trip fun
