"Bucket list"

I've always wanted to ride an airboat so when we found discounted tickets through our military post, I was in. The half hour ride was perfect for us (2 adults and 5 kids aged 4 -11 years.) We didn't get to see a gator on our boat ride as it was midafternoon, but we saw lots of other wildlife pointed out by our guide. We did opt to pay for the cheesy pics holding a baby alligator and the kids loved it! We also enjoyed the outdoor Native American museum presentation. It was informative, but full of humor to keep things from dragging. They are doing some construction adding a gator pool and presentation stage. I hope the new upgrades don't commercialize this charming natural establishment.

We were bored and tried this tour. It was a good time and our captain was cool. We even learned a bit about the habitats where we boated. The only turn-off was the guy demanding money to take a photo with the baby alligator (kinda ended things on a cheesy/sour note). Other than that, I'd highly recommend this if you've never been on a fan boat and want something to do with a half-day

"Nice break from the crazy Disney scene"

We went last night with our 10 and 12 year old. We really enjoyed the boat ride with Captain Andy. He was very informative and really knew his way around the lake. We saw many different types of birds as well as 2-4 little gators and a very large one in the distance. We were also able to take in more of natures beauty by watching the beautiful sunset, finding a bald eagle and many deer. Would recommend this as it was definitely a nice break from the craziness of Disney!

Speed through the waters, capturing the "true feel of Florida." Remember to sit in the front row of the boat, and the experience will be even more thrilling and authentic. Watch for alligators on the water ride and at the end of the adventure when pictures can be taken as a unique memento.
